Founder
A career entrepreneur, Matt was borrowing money long before he was lending it. These insights as both borrower and lender have been instrumental in helping MHG Capital originate and structure deals that are both appealing for borrowers and secure for investors. Matt likes to think of himself as one of the UK’s best networked individuals, which provides The Group with a constant flow of borrowers, investors and other business owners to transact with.
SENIOR CREDIT UNDERWRITER
Asmaa is responsible for the underwriting and credit review of all of MHG’s lending deals. This includes this initial due diligence conducted on borrowers, and ongoing monitoring thereafter. Prior to joining The Group, Asmaa worked within the investment banking and private industries in France. She worked across various sectors and has in-depth experience in due diligence processes, valuations, analysing investment opportunities, and conducting market research. Asmaâ is trilingual in English, French, and Arabic and holds a MSc in financial engineering & transactions from the IAE Business School of Management in Lyon, France.
